Will it work straight away – The Shampoo Bar Challenge
It will clean your hair straight away but you will need to change the method you use to wash your hair and it may take some time for your hair and scalp to transition between using detergent shampoos to those made with natural ingredients. You may find your hair a little heavier than usual or becoming oily more quickly, this is your scalp relearning when to replenish the natural oils in your hair, sometimes it goes into a bit of overdrive at first. Much will depend on how much of the chemicals from your old shampoo remains on your hair so it can take a couple of days to a few weeks but following the instructions carefully will help.
You can help your hair through this transition by making sure the shampoo is thoroughly rinsed from your hair. You could also use some apple cider vinegar as a rinse, or mixing a tsp of baking soda in a little warm water and rinsing helps with the build up of oils until your hair and scalp learns it doesn’t need to keep replacing oils from the shampoo.

How to use a Shampoo Bar
Rub wet the shampoo bar directly onto your hair from scalp to ends in a combing motion.
Cover each section of your hair.
Gently massage scalp and hair, adding more water as needed, until a good lather forms. Alternatively you can lather it up in your hands, and massage into your scalp and hair.
Depending on your hair type, you may need a little conditioner on the tips of your hair, or use an apple cider rinse after washing with the shampoo bar.
