Improve the chances of your nest box being chosen by encouraging birds to view it as a site worth nesting in. This 100% natural wood fibre material encourages birds natural instinct to give it a spring clean. Yes that means the birds will thrown out a proportion of the material but what remains will help to provide a well insulated base layer for their nest.
This material doesn’t provide everything the birds need to make a nest, they use all sorts of items from dried grass, small twigs, feathers and wool among other things. This gives them something to fuss about, and birds do like things tidy (in their own interpretation of tidiness) and provides a good matting layer to help them produce the next generation of birds.
Comes vacuum packed.
