Even in wood nest boxes these resourceful predators can enter the box by gnawing or pecking around the hole to make it larger for them to reach in.  The Nest Box Hole Protection Plate will strengthen the hole and discourage predators by offering better resistance to their efforts and give the nestling an additional defence.
Made with stamped copper sheeting this metal protection plate will not rust and will help safeguard the nest, eggs, chicks and their parents from predators. It will also add more years of use to your wooden nest box.
This plate is for a 32mm Entrance Hole and comes with 4 small wood screws that will need a Phillips/crosshead screwdriver to fix the plate.
