The Nest Box Hole Protection Plate will strengthen the hole and discourage predators by offering better resistance to their efforts and give the nestling an additional defence.
Made with stamped copper sheeting this metal protection plate will not rust and will help safeguard the nest, eggs, chicks and their parents from predators. It will also add more years of use to your wooden nest box.
This plate is for a 26-32mm Entrance Hole on a wood nest box and comes with 4 small wood screws that will need a Phillips/crosshead screwdriver to fix the plate. This plate will reduce the size of the nestbox hole in 28mm and 32mm boxes.
