Care
Wool needs a bit of extra care while washing to keep it in excellent condition and to prevent shrinkage.
Wool doesn’t need washing after everywear unless they have become dirty, if you air dry them overnight they should be good for another day. Making them ideal for camping and overnighters.
If you have a Wool Wash on your washing machine this is taken care of but do use that as it will wash the socks at a lower temperature and with less agitation, a normal wash will shrink these socks.
Use a gentle or mild detergent
If handwashing, never scrub your socks this will agitate the fibres and cause shrinkage. Just leave them in the water and detergent for 10 minutes then rinse in clean water around the same temp as the washing water. Then air dry.
