Why buy a Bumblebee coaster? … No more coffee rings

We were horrified to learn that mug coasters fell out of favour but no one has yet solved the sticky coffee rings mug leaves behind or the damage it does to furniture surfaces. Use a coaster you barbarians!

The concept is simple, a heat resistant hard pad between the mug and flat surface means the furniture is free from the telltale rings, sticky beverage residue and water damage as well as being more hygenic. The coaster is useful for hot and cold drinks and can be used on any flat surface that lends itself to a cup or mug rest. The cork backing on our Dm Collection coasters are cork backed to protect surfaces from scratches. In short it’s a beermat for the home. But beermats are made of cardboard and get sticky too, however the bumblebee coaster has a wipe clean melamine top so you can reuse it and still have the decorative bumblebee illustration.

The bumblebee coaster from The DM Collection is not just a home accessory either, in an easy carry size you can travel with your coaster and save your work desk from sticky circles of bacteria as well.

But thats not all!…

Coasters are multi-functional, take your “carry in the pocket” coaster camping or on picnics or even in the garden and use it on top of your mug to prevent insects and anything else entering your mug and stealing your drink. Most people buy cars that have cup holders so why not buy a cupholder for your home too.

Not just for drinks either, you can use coasters to raise ornaments off the furniture surfice and prevent scratching, sticking and other marks. We’ve even got them under a budgie cage to level up the one corner. There are plenty of uses for coasters!

You can even use it to please or annoy a picky relative, are you guilty of siting your cup near to a pile of coasters in a relative’s home? Cheer them up by learning to use a coaster, you can practise on your bumblebee coaster at home or even take your wonderful bumblebee coaster along with you and give them coaster envy!

Get some class. Impress loved ones, elderly visitors, decent “Meet your parents” dates or even your boss and ditch using an envelope or old DVD or CD buy a coaster and respect the furniture, particularly the wood furniture in your home and at work. and use a coaster.

Not only are they functional essential pieces of dining furniture the  decorative ones like our bumblebee coaster here are ideal presents for people who have everything.
