Description
Sow Bread – Cyclamen hederifolium
Sow Bread – Cyclamen hederifolium is a delicate looking plant that is easy to grow and with interesting flowers and patterned leaves that light up the hedgerow or light woodland.
It’s not as delicate as it looks, it’s a pretty hardy plant that enjoys light shade, partial shade, or full shade and tolerates most soil types other than wet. It is a reliable flowering plant in autumn with interesting green/silvery leaves from autumn to early spring in milder areas. It provides interest and flowers at a time when many garden plants are slowing down and getting ready for winter and in areas not many plants would grow.
The perennial corms will be dormant when sent and will need planting as soon as possible. They need to be quite near the surface so plant 5cm (2inches) deep, any deeper and they won’t flower.
Pack of 3 corms will be sent in a paper bag.
Plant as soon as possible once recieved.
